Dan Brocklebank, Master of Arts (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Brasenose College, University of Oxford), Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan joined Orbis Investments in 2002 as part of the investment team. From 2006-16, he was responsible for building out and leading the global sector investment team in London. In 2016 he was appointed to lead Orbis' 160 staff and two UK offices as well as oversee Orbis’ client efforts in the UK.

John graduated BA in Sociology from Durham University in 1994 and MLitt in Management, Economics and Politics from St Andrews University in 1995. Prior to joining Baillie Gifford he spent ten years working as a sell side equity analyst for Credit Suisse, Citigroup and ABN Amro. John joined Baillie Gifford in 2006 and is a Director in the Global Alpha Team in the Clients Department with particular responsibility for Global Alpha clients. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of the UK. John became a Partner in 2017.
