Jason Baggeley , Fund Manager - Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust

Jason Baggaley manages the Guernsey registered and London-listed Standard Life Investments Property Income Trust. Jason, who joined Standard Life Investments in 1996, also manages a major segregated property mandate. He has 28 years' industry experience and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Aberdeen Standard Investments is a brand of the investment businesses of Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Life Investments. 

 

 

Dan Brocklebank

Dan Brocklebank , Head of UK Retail - Orbis Global Equity Fund

Dan Brocklebank, Master of Arts (Honours) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Brasenose College, University of Oxford), Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst. Dan joined Orbis Investments in 2002 as part of the investment team. From 2006-16, he was responsible for building out and leading the global sector investment team in London. In 2016 he was appointed to lead Orbis' 160 staff and two UK offices as well as oversee Orbis’ client efforts in the UK.

Daniel Coatsworth is the editor at Shares and has written for the publication since 2005. He previously worked at Teletext writing about the UK stock market and money matters; and has also appeared in many of the UK's leading newspapers, news websites and personal finance magazines. He is an expert on equities and funds and is also one of the leading commentators in the field of financial education for the retail investment market.

James Goldstone

James Goldstone , UK Equities Fund Manager - Invesco Perpetual Select Trust

James joined our UK Equities team in August 2012 and was appointed manager of the UK equities portfolio of Invesco Perpetual Select Trust plc in October 2016 and manager of the Keystone Investment Trust plc in April 2017.  He also manages UK equity pension and pan-European equity mandates.

Prior to joining Invesco, James was co-head of pan-European sales at Banco Espirito Santo in London, having begun his career in pan-European equity sales at Credit Lyonnais before going on to specialise in UK equity sales.

 

Lucy Haddow

Lucy Haddow , Client Service Manager - Baillie Gifford Managed Fund

Lucy joined Baillie Gifford in 2013 and is a Client Service Manager in the Clients Department. She is also a Managed Fund Product Specialist. Before joining Baillie Gifford, Lucy spent four years at Ernst and Young in their Assurance and Transaction Support departments. In 2012 she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Lucy graduated BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Durham in 2009. 

James Henderson

James Henderson , Co-Fund Manager - Law Debenture

James Henderson is Director of UK Investment Trusts and a Portfolio Manager at Janus Henderson Investors, a position he has held since 2003. He joined Henderson in 1983 as a trainee fund manager and has successfully managed a number of investment trusts since 1990. Prior to this, he was an accountant trainee at Binder Hamlyn.

James graduated with an MA (Hons) in economics from Cambridge University. He has 37 years of financial industry experience.

 

Denis Jackson

Denis Jackson , Chief Executive Officer - Law Debenture

Denis was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018 having joined Law Debenture in July 2017 as Chief Commercial Officer. He was previously at Capita plc as Director of New Business Enterprise, having been a Director at Throgmorton UK Limited (which Capita acquired). Prior to that, he was Regional General Manager – Europe and the United States – for Tibra Trading Europe Limited, a FCA regulated proprietary trading company, which he joined from Citigroup (formerly Salomon Brothers). He spent almost 20 years there in a variety of roles including in Treasury (both in New York and London), as Head of the Finance Desk in Hong Kong, Head of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage in New York and ultimately, Head of EMEA Prime Brokerage Sales.

 

Ben Rogoff

Ben Rogoff , Fund Manager - Polar Capital Technology Trust

Ben joined Polar Capital in May 2003. He is lead manager of Polar Capital Technology Trust plc and is a Fund Manager of the Polar Capital Global Technology Fund and Polar Capital Automation and Artificial Intelligence Fund. He has been a technology specialist for 24 years. Prior to joining Polar Capital he began his career in fund management at CMI, as a global technology analyst. He moved to Aberdeen Fund Managers in 1998 where he spent four years as a senior technology manager.

 

 

Tom Selby

Tom Selby , Senior Analyst - AJ Bell

Tom is a pensions expert and commentator whose views are sought by national journalists across print and broadcast media. He regularly appears on BBC Radio 4’s weekly ‘Moneybox’ programme to discuss retirement issues and has been a central figure in the campaign to tackle pension scams. In a previous life Tom was a financial journalist for adviser trade publication Money Marketing.

Laura Suter

Laura Suter , Personal Finance Analyst - AJ Bell

Laura Suter is personal finance analyst at AJ Bell. She is a multi-award winning former financial journalist, having specialised in investments. Laura joined AJ Bell from the Daily Telegraph, where she was investment editor. She has previously worked for adviser publications Money Marketing and Money Management, and has worked for an investment publication in New York. She has a degree in Journalism Studies from University of Sheffield.

Emily Whiting

Emily Whiting , Executive Director - JP Morgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust

Emily Whiting, executive director, is an Investment Specialist for the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team, based in London. An employee since 2005, Emily previously worked in the London Request for Proposal Group, specialising in Far East and Emerging Markets equity products.  Emily obtained a B.Sc in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham
